LEARNING
Maryville’s nationally accredited program is recognized throughout the St. Louis region as a leader in administrator preparation. With a strong foundation of theory, practical application, and a developed personal philosophy about leadership, the program produces highly respected leaders.
This program includes an internship and school experience where small groups of candidates design and implement an instructional workshop of three to five days duration in their area of specialization for current teachers or Maryville teacher candidates.

Dr. Lisa Luna is an assistant professor, teaching Educational Leadership K-12. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. Dr Luna’s career spans over 34 years in public education and her roles span from classroom teacher, instructional coach, curriculum coordinator, and principal. Dr. Luna was also named as a Distinguished Principal for the St. Louis Principal’s Association in 2016.
